Two Individuals Accused Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault
Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a substance thought to be irritant spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.
This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.
A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.
This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
