A American-Palestinian teenager who spent 270 days in imprisonment by Israel without being charged was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, during a family visit on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, which he previously denied.

American diplomatic officials applauded the teenager's freedom.

Now sixteen years old, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, according to close relatives.

Family described him as pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.

Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Right now, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives prompt healthcare necessary for his recovery after being subjected to harsh conditions and brutal treatment for months."

The state department announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance to Mohammed's family.

{"US government authorities gives utmost importance to ensuring the safety for United States citizens"," the department emphasized.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers had signed a letter to diplomatic officials and the administration, demanding more be done for his freedom.

Mohammed's parent, parent of four children managing a frozen treats business in Florida, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations to throwing stones because the soldiers beat him.

He had not seen or communicated with his son since the arrest, learning information solely what had happened to him through judicial records.

Mohammed was held lacking indictment within Ofer penitentiary in the West Bank.

It is also home to adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced for major terrorist activities including killings.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.

Several lack formal charges along with monitoring agencies, and international organizations, report instances of mistreatment and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating for justice for his cousin Sayfollah Musallet.

The dual national youth per medical officials succumbed to assault by Israeli settlers during a confrontation last July.

Initially, defense forces stated they were examining information regarding a civilian had died.

Both young men were employed together in the family ice cream shop based in Florida.

No charges have been filed for the cousin's murder.

"We demand US authorities to safeguard our relatives," family representatives emphasized.
